Is TruTalk AI-generated?+
No. Every prompt in TruTalk is hand-written by humans, informed by published research on meaningful conversation, and tested in real rooms before it ships. AI plays no role in generating what you read.
Is TruTalk a chat app?+
No. TruTalk is a full-screen ritual experience. You open it, choose a mode, set your room, and enter a paced sequence of prompts. There's no feed, no inbox, no notifications, and nothing to scroll.
What's the catch with the free tier?+
There isn't one. Five rituals, Go Deeper, Pathways, Hot Seat, Spin the Bottle, Shuffle, are free forever. Unlimited prompts. Premium unlocks the five bespoke modes designed for couples, families, teams, and curiosity dinners.
Can I use it alone?+
Yes. Solo flows are part of Go Deeper and Shuffle. A prompt and a notebook works as well as a prompt and a partner, sometimes better.
What about privacy?+
Your conversations stay between the people in the room. We never read, store, or analyze your responses. The only thing TruTalk knows is which prompts you've seen. Read more in the privacy policy.
Will TruTalk send me notifications?+
Never, unless you ask. No daily nudges, no streaks, no reminders disguised as care. Open it when you want a better question.
