Terms of Service
1. Who we are
TruTalk ("we", "us", "our") is operated by an independent founder based in Milan, Italy. References in these Terms to "the Service" mean the TruTalk website at letstrutalk.com, the TruTalk web app at app.letstrutalk.com, and any related products.
2. Acceptance of these Terms
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization (for example, hosting a TruTalk event for a company), you confirm that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
3. Who can use the Service
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
4. Your account and access
TruTalk is currently usable without a registered account. If we introduce account registration in the future, you will be responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for any activity that occurs under your account.
5. Acceptable use
You agree that you will not, and will not assist anyone else to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful, harmful, or abusive purpose;
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service;
- Scrape, copy, or republish significant portions of TruTalk's prompt library without our written permission;
- Attempt to disrupt the Service through automated traffic, denial-of-service techniques, or security probing;
- Use the Service to harass, threaten, impersonate, or defraud another person;
- Bypass any access restrictions, technical limitations, or paywalls.
6. Subscriptions and payment
Free tier
The Standard tier of TruTalk, including five conversation rituals (Go Deeper, Pathways, Hot Seat, Spin the Bottle, Shuffle), is provided free of charge and without time limit.

- Trial: a 7-day free trial is available to first-time subscribers. You will not be charged during the trial, and you may cancel at any time before the trial ends without charge.
- Auto-renewal: after the trial, subscriptions renew automatically at the start of each billing period until cancelled.
- Cancellation: you can cancel at any time from your account or by emailing letstrutalk@gmail.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period. We do not refund partial periods.

- Price changes: we may change prices with at least 30 days' notice. The new price applies at your next renewal, never retroactively.
7. Intellectual property
All content, prompts, design, branding, code, copy, and visual elements of TruTalk are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by Italian, EU, and international copyright and trademark law.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial conversation purposes. You may share individual prompts verbally and visually with people in your room. You may not redistribute the prompt library at scale, sell access to it, or use TruTalk content to train AI models or competing products.
"TruTalk", the TruTalk logo, and the tagline "Born from prompts. Built for presence." are our trademarks.
8. Your content
If you submit content through our contact form, you grant us permission to read and reply to it. We do not own your messages and we do not use them publicly without your permission.
TruTalk does not read, store, or analyze the conversations you have using the web app. What you say in response to a prompt belongs entirely to the people in your room.
9. Service availability
We aim to keep TruTalk online and working, but we provide the Service "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with reasonable notice where possible.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. TruTalk is a conversation tool, not a substitute for professional advice (medical, psychological, legal, financial, or otherwise).
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Italian law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or €50, whichever is greater.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profit, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, death, or personal injury, or any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
12. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the integrity of the Service. We will give reasonable notice where possible.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced via an in-product notice or by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Italian Republic, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Milan, Italy, except where mandatory consumer-protection law grants you the right to bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence.
EU consumers can also access the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform.
