About TruTalk

Most people want deeper conversations.
Someone has to start them.

TruTalk is a conversation tool designed to spark deeper dialogue. With thoughtful prompts and a simple ritual, it helps people move beyond small talk and connect more meaningfully.

The premise

The quality of our lives is shaped by the quality of our conversations.

In everyday life, conversations tend to stay in familiar territory: work, plans, small talk. Not because people lack curiosity, but because asking an unexpected question can feel awkward or out of place. Initiating something deeper carries social risk, so most people simply don't.

TruTalk lowers that barrier.

It works as a simple social ritual. A question appears, someone reads it aloud, and the phone disappears. What follows belongs entirely to the people in the room. The prompt isn't the conversation, it's permission to begin one.

Often one or two questions are enough before the conversation takes on a life of its own. TruTalk simply provides the spark. The goal isn't more prompts. It's better conversations.

The team

Built by two people who care about the rooms in between.

Reehan

"Why does meaningful conversation feel increasingly rare in a world that is more connected than ever?"

Reehan is a design-led technologist interested in the different ways people choose to connect and relate with each other.

Working across architecture, design, and technology, he became fascinated by the question above. Over several years, he began collecting prompts that sparked curiosity and opened unexpected dialogue.

That collection eventually became TruTalk.

Maria Caso

"[ Add a 1-line quote from Maria here, something about why the science behind a prompt matters. ]"

Maria is a neuroscience researcher who shapes the science behind every TruTalk prompt, drawing on published work on self-disclosure, social bonding, and the neurochemistry of feeling heard.

[ Add 1–2 more sentences here: where she studied, what specifically she focuses on, what she brings to the team. Keep it warm and human, not academic. ]

Together, Reehan's design instincts and Maria's research lens make sure every prompt is beautiful, useful, and grounded.
